Adam Sideris lived a troubled young life by no fault of his own. The Unification Civil War broke out when he was nine years old. His parents, Isabel and Tuddy, spent most of their time leading City-State Loyalist rebels against New-Sparta and their allies. Adam spent days in dark, gloomy hideaways with his sister because the Twins of New-Sparta wouldn't stop hunting them. His future is uncertain, but those in power want to utilize him for his prestigious family name.
Like his mother, Adam feels the weight of an entire civilization on him and the need to protect a family legacy name that he doesn't know much about since his education was cut short by the war. Adam and his sister Juliet both have a genetic anomaly like many past members of their family. The green glow, which is more prominent in low lighting conditions, is something every citizen of Athinia knows well.
Adam's future is uncertain because powerful forces are working tirelessly to use him for their own advantages.
Adam spent his life hiding in basements, attics, or hidden rooms within loyalist’s houses. His secluded life with minimal human interaction, even with his parents, made his levels of anger fester within. Adam sees the world as an empty shell, and he is numb to most feelings of empathy or excitement and views things as tasteless or dull. His care for Juliet comes out of habit from doing it for so long.
Not trusting people was the first thing our parents taught us during the war.
