Martoosh is an artificial world past Titans Belt on the fringes of occupied space. The planet was created in its Goldilocks zone and has a temperate climate. Little is known about Martoosh thus far in the story other than a pirate civilization occupies it. Pirates of the Brown.

According to the Free Worlds, even though Martoosh's civilization has faster than light space capabilities, they are not viewed as having left their darkness yet. Technically they have left the Great Darkness.
